While the phrase 'Everything's bigger in Texas' may be cliche, it does apply to the number of students and schools in our state. As of 2013, Texas had 5,077,659 students enrolled in a total of 8,731 public schools across 1,254 districts--that's the second-highest total number of schools in the country, and we've only grown since then! Given this huge population of students and teachers, it's no wonder that Texas places such a high priority on teacher preparation and credentialing.
Our experts at TExESTest.org have created efficient and engaging teacher test prep materials to help you demonstrate proficiency in the content knowledge and pedagogical skills critical to success in the classroom. Our materials include certification requirements, study guides, practice tests, information about registration and fees, and more!
